Kumon provides support to new franchisees from the very first step of their entrepreneurial journey. When Kumon franchisees set up in a brand-new location, they receive a generous support package, including: * Rental subsidies * Commercial signage * A furniture fit out package * Marketing subsidies * A Centre Opening Kit containing all the materials needed to establish a Kumon franchise. This includes an initial supply of worksheets, learning materials used in conjunction with the worksheets, student enrolment kits, business cards, and promotional materials including an A-frame, flyers and posters. New franchisees taking over an existing franchise in a non-commercial venue, and transitioning to a commercial venue, are also eligible for these subsidies. Our aim is for all new franchises to open with a strong brand image and every opportunity to promote the Kumon name. And the support that our franchisees receive continues throughout their entire journey with Kumon. Each franchisee is assigned a personal consultant to assist them in developing and growing their centre. Other support provided includes ongoing and regular professional development opportunities, including yearly national and international conferences. Franchisees can also request the assistance of specialist teams within the head office, such as marketing or human resources, to provide guidance and advice relating to their Kumon franchise.
