Generous subsidies and gratuities are offered to support our franchisees' success. These may include rental subsidies, a centre fit-out package, marketing subsidies, a franchisee recognition and incentive scheme, and subsidised attendance at national and regional conferences. Specific subsidies are also available to support franchisees in their first year of operations.
Educational materials
All of your students' Kumon worksheets, which are the prime learning tool and core of the programme, are supplied to Kumon franchisees. We also cover the freight of these worksheets, and other materials from our warehouse to you, for up to two shipments per month.
Signage and fit-out for permanent venues
Being a Kumon franchisee means being part of a globally recognised brand. This is a huge advantage for your business. To support this, the company provides all signage and fit-out for new Centres opening in commercially leased premises.
Advertising and marketing support
Kumon Australia and New Zealand runs national free trial campaigns twice a year and provides a range of advertising materials to all franchisees free of cost.
Outside of the free trial campaigns, we strategically advertise Kumon throughout the year and support the brand through activities like setting-up radio campaigns, maintaining a strong online presence that includes corporate social media channels, media outreach on the national, state and local level; and sponsorships.
Our Public Relations team also provides franchisees with personalised support to meet individual marketing needs.
Centre Opening Kit
To support with the opening of new Kumon Education Centres all new franchisees receive a Centre Opening Kit. This contains all the materials needed to establish a Kumon Education Centre, including an initial supply of worksheets, learning materials used in conjunction with the worksheets, student enrolment kits, business cards, and promotional materials including an A-frame, flyers and posters.
Online resources and infrastructure
Operating a franchise with Kumon allows you to take advantage of various infrastructure designed to support you in running a successful business. This includes access to an e-learning platform for new trainees, an online franchisee resource hub, and an online customer portal that supports Kumon families with Kumon at home.
